WE BELIEVE THAT PURE, HEALTHY, GREAT TASTING WATER SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN EVERY HOME. UNFORTUNATELY, BOTH CITY AND WELL WATER CONTAIN A HOST OF CONTAMINANTS RESULTING IN CALCIUM BUILDUP IN HOME APPLIANCES, BAD TASTING WATER, UNPLEASANT ODOR, DRY SKIN AND MOST IMPORTANTLY POOR HEALTH! HEALTH ISSUES CAUSED BY CONTAMINATED WATER INCLUDE CANCER, KIDNEY & LIVER DAMAGE OR FAILURE, BRAIN DAMAGE AND HYPERTENSION TO NAME A FEW.
salt:
Commonly found in city water. High levels over a period of time can cause high blood pressure, nausea, vomiting and inflammation of the digestive tract.
chlorine:
Commonly found in city water. Bad taste and odor, can cause dry skin issues, studies have found it to cause cancer and heart disease.
voc's:
Commonly found in city water. Volatile Organic Compounds are carcinogens and can lead to liver damage and impaired immune system.
iron:
Commonly found in well water. Causes rust colored stains. High content can cause an overload which can cause diabetes, hemochromatosis, liver, heart and pancreas damage.
calcium:
Commonly found in well water. Causes hard water, dry skin and inhibits soap to lather.
tannins:
Commonly found in well water. Creates color stains and bad tasting water.
sediment:
Commonly found in well water. Damages plumbing, stains appliances, clothes, etc.
acidic PH levels:
Common in well water. Corrosion of metal pipes. Acidic water is unhealthy to drink as it is far more likely to carry harmful contaminants.
arsenic:
Commonly found in city water. Poisonous carcinogen and the most significant chemical contaminant found in drinking water globally.
lead:
Commonly found in city water. Low grade lead poisoning can cause kidney failure and brain damage.
Water purchased in plastic bottles may offer benefits to your health but it's hugely contradictory to the big picture here. Not only is purchasing water bottles by the hundreds expensive over the course of a year, it's also extremely inconvenient, wasteful and the negative impact to our environment just isn't worth it. With the technology and choices we have, there's no good reason why every home and business shouldn't have great tasting, clean water right from the tap!
